(Fire and Ravage- Fire can create and control fire and self heal by turning herself into fire. Ravage can create sounds of any frequency and sometimes to manipulate people. Here he uses resonance to break the ice surrounding fire. This was inspired by Body of lies. I was touched by how Leo DiCap is so willing to give his life in return for Aisha's. It got me wondering about a girl doing the same for the guy she loves. So here is this poem- Nothing of Love- Fire gives herself up for Ravage)
Ravage walked out into the light
Freed from the cold he’d been forced into
Fire paid the price for his freedom
Unknown to him
For she loved him more than anyone knew
Powerful in her choice
Determined in her stride
A bargain trade
She was to pay with her life
What did these people know of God anyway?
Those who knew nothing of love
Captured, blindfolded, beaten
Alone in this desert she’d chosen to be in
She smiled as they twisted her bit by bit
They could break her but not her spirit
They could ravish her stubborn beauty
But she would remain resolved
She was unaffected as one with her God
She scoffed at her captors
They knew nothing of love
She smiled as the pain became a burn
As her flesh cried out, she prayed
She laughed even as her blood spilled
She smiled as they became frustrated
As they tried harder to force her will
She pitied the whole lot
What did they know of God?
They who knew nothing of love
She became distant from her body
The chemicals which held her together
She wished she could numb the nerves
As the pain again caused her to tremor
She thought about their times together
And she found the strength to be
She smiled at the fool who prayed to his Lord
What did they know of God?
They who knew nothing of love
Flesh was weak though the spirit strong
She would be a memory before long
They had buried her in ice
So even fire could not revive her glow
She could not use her power
But she would never let go
What did they know of God?
They who knew nothing of love
The enemy smirked at the state she was in
And laughed at the revenge he would score
She nodded as the gun came to her head
‘Go ahead you coward’, she cared not anymore
She closed her eyes to the bang of the door
They had come to save her at last
The enemy could only guess at God
As he could only guess at love
Ravage broke the ice with his voice
He was yet amazed at what she had done
He gathered her like the treasure she was
And warmed her in the rays of the sun
She healed herself through fire
And Ravage hugged the woman he loved
He knew heaven in that instant
And thanked the God above
What did they know of God?
They who knew nothing of love

The Holidays
The fresh dawn of a new tomorrow
Never brought with it such sweet sorrow
As at the end of blissful days
When I say goodbye to blessed holidays
Oh Sun don't set, oh moon don't rise
Oh time stay locked
The world fades to transient illusion
I get carried in the tide of a world's persuasion
Oh hard struggle to find the door to something more
Something beyond the tyranny of custom
I shiver and quake in the aftermath of realization
There can be no other way in wretched reality
Than to stay in obsequiosness to duty
Would i still stumble or dawn on the light in will
Make duty my loyal ally and monotony a thrill
By bending reality to my control
And in doing so break off tyranny
And arise like a phoenix to the adventure of my life
In all its glorious spellbinding color
And not cower like a man about to be hanged
But take it up of my own and be the king of my land
Never brought with it such sweet sorrow
As at the end of blissful days
When I say goodbye to blessed holidays
Oh Sun don't set, oh moon don't rise
Oh time stay locked
The world fades to transient illusion
I get carried in the tide of a world's persuasion
Oh hard struggle to find the door to something more
Something beyond the tyranny of custom
I shiver and quake in the aftermath of realization
There can be no other way in wretched reality
Than to stay in obsequiosness to duty
Would i still stumble or dawn on the light in will
Make duty my loyal ally and monotony a thrill
By bending reality to my control
And in doing so break off tyranny
And arise like a phoenix to the adventure of my life
In all its glorious spellbinding color
And not cower like a man about to be hanged
But take it up of my own and be the king of my land
