The Holidays

The fresh dawn of a new tomorrow
Never brought with it such sweet sorrow
As at the end of blissful days
When I say goodbye to blessed holidays
Oh Sun don't set, oh moon don't rise
Oh time stay locked
The world fades to transient illusion
I get carried in the tide of a world's persuasion
Oh hard struggle to find the door to something more
Something beyond the tyranny of custom
I shiver and quake in the aftermath of realization
There can be no other way in wretched reality
Than to stay in obsequiosness to duty
Would i still stumble or dawn on the light in will
Make duty my loyal ally and monotony a thrill
By bending reality to my control
And in doing so break off tyranny
And arise like a phoenix to the adventure of my life
In all its glorious spellbinding color
And not cower like a man about to be hanged
But take it up of my own and be the king of my land
